Girls’ Invitational Golf Tournament

The Okawville Invitational at Roland Memorial Golf Course went great for the girls. Chloe Kraus, Amy Koch, Katelyn Alvis, Avery Killion, and Macie Staley played in the 18 hole tournament. Chloe Kraus shot 80 overall, 38 on the front half, and 42 on the back half. Amy Koch shot 96 overall, 47 on the front half, and 49 on the back half. Katelyn Alvis shot 98 overall, 45 on the front half, and 53 on the back half. Avery Killion shot 107 overall, 52 on the front half, and 55 on the back half. Macie Staley shot 124 overall, 55 on the front half, and 69 on the back half. The teams overall score was 381, placing 4th out of 10 teams. 

Amy Koch said, ”There were many teams there and it was a very nice day to golf. We, as a team, did really well and coach was very proud of all of us.” Chloe Kraus said, “Practice like you have never won and play like you never lost.” Macie Staley said, “ It was a very nice outing that day, and I got to play my very first 18 hole which was very exciting plus the food afterwards was great.”
