The Lady Rocket Golfers played their regional match at Stonewolf Golf Club. This is a very tough course for a girls’ regional. As a team, they finished 5th out of 9 teams total and only 3 teams advance to sectionals, which ended their season earlier than they expected. The lowest score from Okawville was a 97 from Avery Killion (Sr). The next scores were Taylor Hettenhausen (So) – 107, Erin Nilles (Sr) – 110, Macie Staley (Jr) – 114, and Paige Riechmann (Jr) – 153. They ended with a team score of 428.

Avery Killion (Sr) advanced out of regionals to play at sectionals. She placed 4th, but 15th overall out of 64 individuals. She went the next week to play sectionals at the Acorns Golf Links. She shot 101 and placed 42 out of 112 overall. She did not advance out of sectionals, but great job to Avery for making it that far and a great way to end her senior year!
