The Lady Rockets basketball team heads into 2022 with a record of 16-0. The Lady Rockets are coming off of a phenomenal tournament win in Mascoutah. 

In the first week of 2022 the Rockets played Freeburg beating them 63-47, Briley Rhodes had a good offensive game with 22 points. 

The following Thursday the Lady Rockets had a home conference game against the Carlyle Indians. The Lady Rockets beat the Lady Indians, outscoring them 59-25. Raegan Luechtefeld had a great offensive and defensive game. This was the Lady Rockets’ 5th conference win so far this year.

The Okawville Lady Rockets then traveled to Breese on Saturday for the Central Paws Shootout, both JV and varsity played Fairfield, with JV and varsity both winning. Briley Rhodes received MVP with 16 points. The Lady Rockets remained undefeated.

The next week the Rockets faced Greenville at home for a non-conference game, beating them 51-35. Megan Rennegarbe had a great offensive and defensive game. The Lady Rockets will also face Red Bud on Thursday for a home conference game. 

The Lady Rockets are now 20-0 and will be playing in the Highland Tournament from January 15-22. Come cheer and support your Lady Rockets!
