On Saturday, October 25th, the high school band marched in the Mardi Gras Parade in Pinckneyville. If you saw them, hopefully you cheered them on! The Mardi Gras Parade was about a mile long, and while they marched, they played September and Patriotic Parade Sequence. Eva Tooley and Julia Helbig were the drum majors, and Reed Recker and Kate Young were advisers/conductors. Even though it was a chilly night, they played very well. The band placed 4th in the Mardi Gras Parade. Great job to the band for doing an O-some job!
