Spanish Club Sells Butterbraids

Hannah Miller, Staff Writer

From Wednesday, October 6 to Friday, October 29, the Okawville Spanish Club sold Butterbraids for their annual fundraiser. Butterbraids are something that is well-loved and always sells very easily. Each member of the Spanish club had to sell at least one product out of the packet, but they were encouraged to sell more. The packets included delicious breakfast pastries, cream rolls, and the new addition this year was pizzas.

This year, the Spanish club raised about 3,000 dollars in sales. The money raised will help pay for the Sweetheart dance and even help pay for part of the club members’ shirts.
