Jr. Lady Rockets Take Second Place in Okawville Tournament

This past week, the Okawville Tournament began for the Lady Rockets. The girls went into the tournament with a record of 2-1. 

On Monday, the Jr. Lady Rockets took on the Shiloh Wildcats for the first game of the tournament. It was a close one, but the Lady Rockets would take the win with a score of 37-36. 

On Tuesday, they took on the All-Saints Academy Saints for the second game of the tournament. They would take the win with a score of 41-12 and would give themselves a chance to play in the championship. 

On Friday, they played in the championship game against the Nashville Hornettes. At the half, the score was 6-5, with the Hornettes up. Nashville started to pull away, and the Jr. Lady Rockets could not catch up with the score. They lost to Nashville with a score of  36-13, resulting in a second-place finish.

After the tournament, the Jr. Lady Rockets 8th grade team sits with a record of 4-2.  Good luck to the Jr. Lady Rockets as they continue through their season!
