Music Program Stays The Night At School
April 6, 2022
On Friday, March 25 the Okawville High School held its annual lock-in for students involved in band and chorus. For the past two years, the school hasn’t been able to hold the lock-in because of Covid 19 restrictions. Students arrived around 7:30-8:00 pm and left around 6:00 am.
There were different shifts of chaperons through the long night. Pizza and soda were provided for the kids as they played basketball, volleyball, and dodgeball all night. There were rooms set up with movies, karaoke, and games. The best part of the night was playing hide and seek through parts of the school in the dark, it’s a great tradition.
