Mrs. Hudgens Becomes New Sixth Grade Teacher

This year at Okawville Grade School and Okawville Jr /Sr Highschool, we have welcomed many new faces. One of them is Mrs. Hudgens. She took the opening as the new 6th-grade teacher. She is very familiar here at Okawville, where she attended high school. After that, she proceeded with her education at McKendree University, where she received her Elementary Degree and Middle School Endorsement Degree. She then taught at Shiloh Middle School for 17 years, teaching grades third and sixth, along with RTI. 

I asked her what she was most excited about this year. She said, “I am excited to be closer to my kids and get to go to their extracurricular activities. I am also excited to see where I can take these kids this year.” Mrs.Hudgens has had a lot of experience teaching, and Okawville is very excited to have her here this school year.
