The Rockets’ final match was on our home course September 25th facing off against Marissa and DuQuion. After the final match, the Rockets went to the IHSA Class 1A Regionals. The regionals were hosted at Pinkneyville on September 27th. After a long day of regionals 3 of our Rockets- Shane Klasing, Parker Wiese, and Parker Lehde- were able to move on to sectionals. Sectionals were on October 2nd at Waterloo, and unfortunately, no Rockets were able to move on to State. These three golfers’ season averages were: 40 for Shane Klasing, 40 for Parker Weise, and 42 for Parker Lehde. The Boys’ golf team had 4 seniors this year Riley Clark, Shane Klasing, Parker Lehde, and Bennett Krohne. The seniors have been great assets to the team and will be greatly missed.
