The Lady Rockets faced the Goreville Blackcats for the super-sectional championship on February 26th. The Rockets beat the Blackcats with a score of 55-26 with Alayna Kraus having 28 of the 55 points for Okawville.
The Lady Rockets will now go up to play at state for the second year in a row and will face St. Bede Peru at 11:15 am on Thursday, February 29th. If the Lady Rockets win on Thursday morning they will play for the state championship on Saturday, March 2nd at 11 am. If the Lady Rockets lose on Thursday morning they will play for third place Thursday at 6:30 pm. The Lady Rockets will either face Altamont or Glasford (Illini Bluffs) in the second round.
