Volleyball season has started for junior high students at Okawville!
Volleyball tryouts were on January 3rd, and the 7th-grade team consists of Emma Muniz, Ashlyn Steinkamp, Josephine Schmersahl, Lydia Waltrip, Mallory Epplin, and Sheylle Salazar-Medina as manager. The 8th-grade team consists of Kinley Mueller, Megan Priester, Kaylee Wolf, Taylor Statler, Katelyn Williams, Emma Hokeness, Ellyson Hesker, Annabelle Herzig, Sophia Going, Madeline Dulle, Jaycie Buss, and Trista Behrman. The coaches for this season are Debbie Frederking and Brian Frederking.
Currently, the 7th grade team is 2-2 this season and the 8th grade team is 4-0 this season. Good luck to the Jr. Lady Rockets as they begin their season!
