A proficiency award is given to students who have satisfactorily completed a course or a sequence of courses designed to lead them to specific types of employment or to enhance their skills. This year’s proficiency chapter winners were.
Katelyn Borrenpohl – food service placement
Owen Borrenpohl – Grain Production, Vegetable Production
Abigail Brennfleck– Dairy Production Placement
Madison Gogoleck – Outdoor recreation,
Lillian Helbig – Beef production placement, diversified crop production placement, agricultural processing, fiber and/or oil crop production
Izzabell Howard – small animal production and care
Hunter Kolweier – agricultural services, turf grass management
Savanna Meyer – poultry production
Owen Lairson – Human and Public Services SOE
Mark Marler – manufacturing, engineering, and trades SOE
All these people competed at sections, but Lily Helbig won the section with diversified crop production placement and moved on to districts.
