The track season is starting, and the JH Track team has been made. There are 2 coaches, Val Tepe and Debby Frederking. Brenden Heizer is the manager. There are eight 6th Graders running track this year: Kyle Bollmeier, Aubrey Charles, Penelope Herzig, Kylie Klingenberg, Paxton Lehde, Charlotte Lintker, Alexander Salarzar-Madina, and Harper Shubert. There are also eight 7th Graders: Lily Gass, Emmerson Hashieder, Ransom Lugge, Brooklyn Meier, Lucy Pile, Rigden Senior, Lydia Waltrip, and Skylar Wilfong. The eleven 8th Graders running this year are Jaycie Buss, Max Carr, Tessa Frantz, Sophia Going, Annabelle Herzig, Ethan Hewitt, Emma Hokeness, Kinley Mueller, Megan Priester, Taylor Statler, and Kaylee Wolf. Their first meet was on April 2, at Mater Dei. The girls finished first and the boys finished third.
