Coach Haylee Bowers led her team of hardworking students to victory against Wesclin. The Jr. Lady Rockets won 16-1.
On Thursday, August 22, The Jr. Lady Rockets played against Waltonville at Waltonville. Emmerson Hasheider batted 4 times. Josephine Schmersahl scored 1 run and 1 hit. Peyton Harris batted 2 times. Ashlyn Steinkamp batted twice and scored 1 run. Kylie Klingenberg batted 3 times, scored 1 run, had 2 hits, and 1 RBI. Blakely Buss had 3 hits and 2 RBIs. Addysyne Borrenpohl batted 3 times. Lillian Klingenberg batted 3 times and had 1 hit. Lastly, Hailey Carrico batted twice. Unfortunately, the Jr. Lady Rockets lost against Waltonville 3-4.
The last game of the week was on Friday, August 23, against Mascoutah at Okawville. Emmerson Hasheider scored 3 runs and had 1 triple! Josephine Schmersahl had 2 runs, 1 triple, and 1 RBI.
