Last Tuesday, September 10th, the Rockets’ ran at the Meteor Invitational in Marissa. The course was challenging at the hilly start and finish. The boys’ team placed fourth out of seven, scoring 115. Scoring 58, the girls placed third out of five. Five runners achieved medals. Out of the girls Katelyn Gogolek placed fifteenth, Kaylee Wolf placed twelfth, Sydney Charles placed eleventh, and Caroline Tepe placed second with a time of 20:01. The only boy who placed was Ryker Obermeier, placed tenth with a time of 17:52. Saturday, September 14th, the junior high and high school track and the cross country hosted their annual Wheat Streak.
