On Wednesday, September 25, the FCA hosted See You At the Pole. See You At the Pole is a nationwide event that is held on the 4th September of every year.
“See You At the Pole” is a global student-led organization started in 1990 at a youth group retreat by students, which led to prayer at several schools in Burlington, Texas. It is held for any JH and HS students as well as faculty and staff. Mr. Reed Recker and Ms. Christy Hood are leaders of FCA. The Officers read different passages and prayers during the event. The Officers are Kaylyn Cragen; president, Isaiah Auer; vice president, Rylan Senior; secretary, and Laney Hundelt; treasurer. The FCA talked about how talking to God is like talking to a friend. It shouldn’t be a scary conversation, it should be calm and simple. There was a great turnout for this event. We wish to see the same amount, if not more people at our upcoming events!
