Grab your hat and dust off your boots for the Junior High Sadie Hawkins dance! The dance took place on Saturday, October 5 in the school’s cafeteria and it lasted from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The Student Council helped out with running the dance. Some high school students worked the music with Mrs. Bowers and others worked the snack and drink stand. Last year, the theme was Beach Bum, but then it changed back to Sadie Hawkins this year. The students wore plaid shirts and jeans. The cost for the admission fee was $2. Some of the other teachers who helped work the dance were Mrs. Dressler, Mrs. Frederking, Mrs. Bowers, Mr. Barkau, and Mrs. Schleifer. 8th grader Peyton Harris described her experience. “I had tons of fun, my favorite part about the dance was when I got to go and dance with all of my friends.” The Junior High students are very excited about the upcoming dances.
