For the third year in a row, the boys won the conference meet. The girls won for their fourth year in a row. There were multiple goals achieved at this meet. Almost every runner made personal or season records too. Caroline Tepe and Paige Kolweier both made season records. Sidney Charles, Kaylee Wolf, Katelyn Gogolek, Sophia Wood, and Emma Hokeness made personal records. Additionally, Nolan Frantz, Kaden Buehler, William Tepe, Thor Gavin, and Gabe Charles made personal records in the boys’ race. At conference, the top 25% of runners in each division were awarded medals, leaving the Illinois division with only six All-conference spots. The Rockets had multiple people place however, with Katelyn Gogolek in fifth, Kaylee Wolf in fourth, Sidney Charles in third, and Caroline Tepe in first with a time of 18:64. In the boys’ race, Thor Gavin placed sixth, William Tepe placed fifth, Kaden Buehler in fourth, Nolan Frantz in second, and Ryker Obermeier in first at 16:57. With Rockets winning races as a team and as individuals, they did a fantastic job.
