Last Saturday, November 2nd, the cross country teams ran at sectionals in Benton. Since the teams ran the course previously, many runners shortened their records by about thirty seconds. Two runners advanced to state, Caroline Tepe and Sidney Charles. Caroline Tepe medaled in fourth place and Sidney Charles placed 31st. Overall, the boys’ team placed tenth out of twenty, and the girls’ placed seventh out of sixteen. The girls’ team was close to going to state as a team, placing one spot short needed to go to state.
