On January 9, the girls’ junior varsity and varsity teams played at Carlyle. The junior varsity beat Carlyle by 10. The score was 42-32. The varsity team lost to Carlyle by two in overtime. The score of their game was 46-44. Then, the Lady Rockets traveled to Central on Saturday, January 11th to play Effingham St. Anthony. The junior varsity team defeated them. The varsity also won 46-34. The next game the Lady Rockets played was at Greenville and both teams won. The junior varsity won 41-27 and the varsity won 43-34. Then, they had a makeup game against the Wesclin Lady Warriors. Junior varsity won 24-17 and varsity won 32-20. The next night on January 16th, the Lady Rockets traveled to Red Bud and the junior varsity won 39-33 and the varsity won 38-24. The next game for the Lady Rockets was at the Highland tournament.
