The annual Pack the Place games will be held on February 12th, for the girls’ game, and February 14th for the boys. Pack the Place is a Spanish Club event where they try to get a big crowd for one of the last home games of the year. This year the games are on both the girl’s and boy’s senior nights. Pack the Place started about 10 years ago when a group of senior girls wanted to get a better turnout in both the girls and boys games. Since Spanish club is such a big club, with about 70-80 members, they were the perfect club to start the Pack the Place tradition. The hope was to get more student participation in the O-Zone. They offered Okawville Students a free t-shirt if they showed up on those specific nights. The turnout was good and Pack the Place has been an Okawville tradition ever since.
