On February 14, the Okawville boys basketball team played Wesclin for Senior Night. Okawville and Wesclin came together to do a 50/50 fundraiser for Maci, a girl from Mater Dei who got into a terrible car accident on February 11. We raised approximately $1,500. Both schools wore pink to support Maci and Chandler Mueller, Maci’s boyfriend who is a player on the Wesclin boys basketball team. Other schools around the area have also shown their support by wearing pink.
