On Saturday, March 1st, many Okawville band and choir members competed in solo ensemble at Nashville High School. Okawville ended up having 73 students participate, the most amount of Okawville students to compete in a long time. Out of the 73 students that performed, fifty students placed first, eleven finished second, and two got third. Two Okawville students received first place Superiors, the best grade you can get. Brooklyn Lovelace and Sawyer Galliano were the ones to receive 1st Superiors while Nolan Frantz and Madeline Dulle received Best of the Day in their classrooms.
