On March 6, 2025, 3 FFA students competed at districts for a chance to compete at state. The students who competed were James d’Entremont, Petra Galliano, and Lillian Helbig. FFA districts honor FFA members who have advanced from the section competing with their supervised agriculture experience. Lillian Helbig competed in Diversified Crop Placement and received 3rd place. James d’Entremont competed in Landscape Management and received 2nd place. Petra Galliano competed in Agriscience Research Integrated System and placed 1st. Petra will now go to state on Saturday, March 22. She is the first Okawville FFA member to advance to state since 2019. Congrats Petra!
