Rough Start for the Lady Rockets

On Wednesday, March 19th, the Varsity Lady Rockets faced the Centralia Annies. Kaylyn Cragen started pitching and Jilien Harre was catching. The infield consisted of Lily Helbig at first, Schae Juenger at second, Kenley Hackstadt at shortstop, and Lilly Cragen at third. The outfield was Elly Hesker in right field, Jaycie Buss in center, and Addison Hasheider in left field. The game started strong with both pitchers throwing very well. Kaylyn pitched 3.2 innings out of the seven and Schae Juenger came in for relief in the fourth inning. Jilien Harre led the Lady Rockets going three for three at the plate. Behind her were Jaycie Buss and Addi Hasheider going two for four, and Lily Helbig going one for two. Schae Juenger and Kaylyn Cragen went 1 for 3. Sadly, the Lady Rockets fell short losing 6-3. Their next game will be played on Monday, March 24 at home against Mater Dei. Good luck Lady Rockets!
