With the end of the season coming up for the Lady Rockets, the weeks are getting less full. This week, they were meant to play three games, but were only able to get two in due to rain. On Monday, they traveled to Chester, where they lost 4-2 in 7 innings. The Lady Rockets put up one run in the first inning, but Chester responded, tying up the game. Chester came out hot in the 2nd and 3rd innings, scoring 3 runs. This put the Yellow Jackets up 4-1 going into the seventh inning. Sadly, the Lady Rockets couldn’t climb back and lost 4-2. On Wednesday, they traveled to Nashville, where they pulled off a successful win over Nashville 16-7. The game against Chester the following day was postponed and moved to Friday, May 16th.
