The 7th grade class went on a field trip to the St. Louis Zoo on April 29, 2025. The 7th graders left the school around 8:15 a.m. and arrived around 9:10 a.m. The morning started with a scavenger hunt to answer different questions about the animals. The students/chaperones had to complete as many questions as they could all day. All the 7th-graders had a great time at the zoo. Many students got food there, went to Starbucks, and, of course, they got to see the amazing animals. At noon, there was a little rain in the forecast, but the 7th-graders still had an amazing time at the zoo. Students also got to pet stingrays, ride the carousel, and even got to ride the little train at the zoo. The students left the zoo at 1:00 p.m. and later arrived back at school. Overall, all of the students in the 7th grade class had a great time and are excited for their field trip next year to Springfield, Illinois.
We’d like to thank all of the chaperones and teachers who participated in the field trip. The field trip would not have been completed without you all. Thank you to Mr. Barkau for helping drive the 7th-graders to the zoo. Thank you all for being Owesome!
