On Thursday, May 8, the Rockets and Lady Rockets were supposed to play Chester at home. However, the games got rained out. The Booster Club was going to provide burgers and hot dogs at the games to raise money for the Carrico family. Since the games were canceled, the Booster Club provided burgers and hot dogs at the American Legion in Okawville starting at 5 pm until they ran out. Many people went to support the Carrico family in memory of Blake and enjoy a burger or hot dog while talking with friends at the legion. The Booster Club raised around $2,000. This benefit for Blake was a huge success. Thanks to the Booster Club and everyone who came to support!
