On April 24, the Biology 2 class took a field trip to the St. Louis Zoo. They left the school right at 8 am and arrived at 9 am. The students had a scavenger hunt to complete while at the Zoo. This scavenger hunt included reading the signs next to all the animals to find the information for the questions. The teacher and sponsor of the field trip was Mrs. Hormann, and the class included Rylan Senior, Caroline Tepe, Kate Borrenpohl, Kayla Crouch, Carly Schmidt, Alannah White, James d’Entremont, Brecklyn Rennegarbe, Maddie Rennegarbe, Taylor Corman, Alexis Jarden, Paige Kolweier, Madison Gogolek, and Oliver Gaubatz. They are just wrapped up learning about the immune systems of humans and animals, and the structure and organisms of fish and marine animals. Shortly after the field trip, they got to dissect sharks during class.Â
