On Monday, September 8th, the Spanish Club students and Mrs. Holm met for a brief meeting regarding the butter braid fundraiser. Every year, the OHS Spanish Club raises money by selling butter braids for the events they sponsor. There are many options of items to purchase, including pastry puffins, butter hearts, butter braids, cookies, and various flavors of coffee. The money raised is used for donations to the local cancer hospice, the Sweetheart dance, the Zoo light trip, and Pack the Place t-shirts. The Spanish club is open to all students willing to participate and come to events. The fundraiser is open until October 6th, and they will be delivered on October 22nd.
