The Okaville Junior High Softball Team went undefeated this week.
On Saturday, September 6th, the Junior Lady Rockets played a doubleheader at Trico. The first game was against Trico. Emma Gray pitched an awesome game, winning 8-2. The next game, they defeated Zeigler Royalton 8-0. Lilly Klingenberg pitched against Zigler Royalton. On Tuesday, September 8th, the Junior Lady Rockets defeated the Nashville Hornets, 4-2, in 8 innings. This was a very competitive and thrilling game. This game was also a Strike Out to Cancer, where both teams wore shirts and raised money for a little girl named Stella. Lilly Klingingberg, Kylie Klingenberg, and Emma Gray pitched for this game. On Wednesday, September 10, the Junior Lady Rockets defeated Trinity Hoyelton 15-0. Lilly Klingenberg and Maisey Moyer pitched for this game. On Thursday, September 11th, the Okawville Junior Lady Rockets won against Carlyle 16-3. Amelia Riechmann and Lilly Klingenberg pitched. The junior high softball team currently has a record of 15-0 so far in their season.
