The Girls’ golf team traveled to Carlyle on Monday, September 8. The six girls who played were Kaylie Behrman, Bella Muniz, Delaney Viehl, Delaney Kuhn, Lilly Cragen, and Emma Muniz. The girls came home with a score of 183. Kaylie Behrman shot a 44, Bella Muniz shot a 43, Delaney Kuhn shot a 48, Emma Muniz shot a 48, Lilly Cragen shot a 48, and Delaney Viehl shot a 51. The next day, the golf team hosted a match at Okawville against Gibault and Freeburg. Okawville won the match with a score of 182. Everyone played in that match, but the top scorers were Bella Muniz with a 39, Delaney Viehl with a 44, Lilly Cragen with a 49, Kaylie Behrman with a 50, and both Emma Muniz and Delaney Kuhn shot a 55. That Thursday, the team went to Nashville to play against Nashville and Breese Central. The golf team came home with a second-place finish with a score of 174. Delaney Kuhn shot the lowest score, which was a 42, then Delaney Viehl with a 43, Bella Muniz with a 44, Kaylie Behrman with a 45, Lilly Cragen 55, and Emma Muniz with a 56. The girl’s next match is Thursday, September 18.
