“Swish!” Goes the net as the JH boys basketball team prepares for the 2017-2018 season. The team will face some difficulties as none of the 8th graders have much experience in JH basketball. A big problem is the team’s size. They only have a few tall athletes on the team with quite a few guards. When I asked Coach Beau Barkau how he expected the season to pan out he said, “The 8th graders are young and do not have a lot experience. There will be a few bumps along the way, but I am hoping for a regional trophy.” The teams first opponent is Woodlawn Junior High on October 17 at home. Good Luck Rockets!
