The Lady Rockets Basketball team has started practice.  The team is running a little low on players this year with only 13. 

Members of this 13 are Seniors Megan Schleifer, Delaney Toensing, and Grace Foster. The Juniors are Sevanah Hackstadt and Chloe Kraus. Sophomores are Raegan Luectefeld, Sydney Tebbe, and Chloe Tepe.  There are five freshmen on this year’s team Jordyn Heckert, Ellie Frederking, Megan Rennegarbe, Briley Rhodes, and Macie Staley. The head coach is Michelle Hasheider-Burianek. The assistant coaches are Haylee Althoff, Paul Jansen, and Courtney Lintker. 

Although the team has low numbers they are looking forward to a very successful season. Their first game is Monday, November 25, in the Nashville tournament versus Wesclin, a team also facing low numbers.

I asked Megan Rennegarbe what she is looking forward to this season.  She replied with “ I am excited for getting to know everyone better on the team and facing better competition being a freshman.”
