The Lady Rocket Volleyball Team played in the Regional Tournament October 29th – 31st. Their first match in Regionals was against Madison. They played an amazing game beating Madison by 15 points both matches. They ended up with only 4 serving errors and only 6 attack errors.

Next up was Father McGivney which was a little more of a challenge. The Lady Rockets won the first match 25-19. The second match was the other way around however with us losing 19-25. The third match was close but we pulled out ahead with a win over Father McGivney 25-23. The Lady Rockets were off to the championship.

The Regional Championship was held on October 31 against New Athens. They had previously lost to them in the season, so they knew this game would be a challenge. They started the game strong leading by a little. New Athens, however, fought back beating the Rockets 25-22. It was on to the second match. They gave it their all but sadly it was not enough. They lost 19-25 making New Athens the Regional Champs. It was a great match played by both teams but someone had to come out on top and sadly it was not us.

The Lady Rockets hope to make it back to the championship next year to finish the unfinished business.
