On Saturday, January 4th, Breese Central hosted the Paws Shootout. This shootout was sponsored by Jansen Chevrolet. The Okawville Lady Rockets participated in this shootout, both the JV and Varsity team played Goreville.

The JV team played a great game, winning 32-26. They played hard and fought until the very end.

The Varsity played at 12:00 p.m. All of the girls played a great game. The final score was 52-32.

Megan Schleifer was named player of the game, scoring 15 points. After the games, all teams were given free pizza, wings, and drinks. Overall it was a great tournament and great games played by all teams.
