The Lady Rockets Cross Country Team had a varsity-only meet at New Athens.  The weather was 64 degrees, partly cloudy, and the wind was 11 mph.  Overall they had 40 points, and they placed 1st as a team. Cindy Synder placed 2nd with a time of 22:12.  Chloe Tepe placed 5th with a time of 22:50.  Lydia Luechtefeld placed 6th with a time of 22:52.  Adysen Harre placed 9th with a time of 23:09.  Megan Rennegarbe got 18th with a time of 25:36.  Raelyn Obermeier got 27th with a time of 28:32.  Amy Koch got 29th with a time of 28:41.  After the race Coach Val said, “I was very pleased with how the girls ran. I told them with only a few meets left until postseason, we have to start getting some gains in meets and that’s what they did and got 1st place.”
