The‌ ‌girl’s‌ ‌high‌ ‌school‌ ‌cross‌ ‌country‌ ‌team‌ ‌had‌ ‌regionals‌ ‌on‌ ‌October‌ ‌24,‌ ‌2020.‌ ‌It‌ was‌ ‌held‌ ‌at‌ ‌the‌ ‌Smithton‌ ‌Community‌ ‌Park.‌ ‌There‌ ‌were‌ ‌a‌ ‌total‌ ‌of‌ ‌three‌ ‌races‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌girl’s‌ ‌varsity‌ ‌instead‌ ‌of‌ ‌only‌ ‌being‌ ‌one‌ ‌race‌ ‌like‌ ‌it‌ ‌was‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌past.‌ ‌It‌ ‌was‌ ‌changed‌ ‌to‌ ‌three‌ ‌races‌ ‌to‌ ‌spread‌ ‌the‌ ‌runners‌ ‌out,‌ ‌and‌ ‌this‌ ‌was‌ ‌due‌ ‌to‌ ‌‌ ‌safety‌ ‌concerns.‌
The‌ runners‌ ‌were‌ ‌split‌ ‌up‌ ‌into‌ ‌three‌ ‌races‌ ‌by‌ ‌their‌ ‌times.‌ ‌For‌ ‌each‌ ‌team‌ ‌the‌ ‌two‌ ‌fastest‌ ‌runners‌ ‌were‌ ‌put‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌first‌ ‌race,‌ ‌the‌ ‌next‌ ‌two‌ ‌fastest‌ ‌runners‌ ‌were‌ ‌put‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌second‌ ‌race,‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌last‌ ‌three‌ ‌runners‌ ‌were‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌third‌ ‌race.‌

‌Overall‌ ‌Cindy‌ ‌Synder‌ ‌got‌ ‌12th‌ with‌ ‌a‌ ‌time‌ ‌of‌ ‌20:30,‌ ‌Chloe‌ ‌Tepe‌ ‌got‌ ‌24th‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌time‌ ‌of‌ ‌21:19,‌ ‌Lydia‌ ‌Luechtefeld‌ ‌got‌ ‌28th‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌time‌ ‌of‌ ‌21:29,‌ ‌Adysen‌ ‌Harre‌ ‌got‌ ‌38th‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌time‌ ‌of‌ ‌22:31,‌ ‌Megan‌ ‌Rennegarbe‌ ‌got‌ ‌48th‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌time‌ ‌of‌ ‌23:54,‌ ‌Amy‌ ‌Koch‌ ‌got‌ ‌53rd‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌time‌ ‌of‌ ‌24:21,‌ ‌and‌ ‌Raelyn‌ ‌Obermeier‌ ‌got‌ ‌68th‌ ‌with‌ ‌a‌ ‌time‌ ‌of‌ ‌26:45.‌ ‌The‌ ‌girl

s‌ ‌had‌ ‌an‌ ‌overall‌ ‌score‌ ‌of‌ ‌143‌ ‌points,‌ ‌and‌ ‌this‌ ‌meant‌ ‌that‌ ‌the‌ ‌girl’s‌ ‌missed‌ ‌going‌ ‌to‌ ‌sectionals‌ ‌by‌ ‌one‌ ‌point.‌ ‌They‌ ‌lost‌ ‌the‌ ‌5th‌ ‌team‌ ‌spot‌ ‌to‌ ‌Red‌ ‌Bud‌ ‌who‌ ‌had‌ ‌142‌ ‌points.‌ ‌They‌ ‌still‌ ‌had‌ ‌one‌ ‌individual,‌ ‌Cindy‌ ‌Synder,‌ ‌qualify‌ ‌for‌ ‌sectionals‌ ‌as‌ ‌an‌ ‌individual.‌
