The biannual Riechmann Farm Auction was held on Saturday August 21, 2021. The event kicked off at 9am in the Okawville Community Park. This auction gives farmers from all over the opportunity to buy and sell farm equipment. The FFA and Student Leadership Team volunteered their services at this event. FFA members helped with parking and the Student Leadership Team helped serve food.  Bennett Krohne, a member of the Student Leadership Team, helped serve food at the auction. I asked Bennett how he liked volunteering at the auction. He replied, “It felt really good to help give back to the community.” This opportunity gives students a great chance to give back to their community and represent Okawville High School. In the end, the auction was another great success.
