Mrs. Cori Kremmer, new junior high teacher

This past summer, a position for teaching Jr. High science opened up when Mr. Hostert left OJSHS after many years. When the position opened, Mrs. Kremmer was there to scoop it up. When asked why she chose this job, Mrs. Kremmer replied, “It was kind of one of those like I was given an opportunity, and I couldn’t pass it up. I have always wanted to work here ever since we moved here nine years ago, and I would like to be on the same schedule as my kids.”

Before moving to OHS, Mrs. Kremmer worked at Willow Grove in Centralia for seven years. Before that, she worked at Albers grade school for two years as a long-term sub, then eventually a Jr. High science teacher. Even before that, she worked at Hillsboro Intermediate in Missouri as a 6th-grade teacher and a 3rd-grade teacher.

In her spare time, Mrs. Kremmer likes to read books, help her husband out on the farm, sing, and watch her girls “grow up, play sports, and do their thing.”
