The boys’ golf team, coached by Travis Kuhn, started off their season with a home match on August 16. They finished 1st out of 3 teams with the scores of: Parker Wiese (Fr)-41, Dillon Teter (Jr)-42, Dylan Clark (Sr)-42, Levi Traub (Sr)-44, Shane Klasing (So)-45, and Riley Clark (So)-48. 

The following day on August 17, they had another home match. They finished 1st out of 3 teams once again, with the scores of: Dillon Teter(Jr)-38, Levi Traub(Sr)-38, Shane Klasing(So)-41, Riley Clark(S0)-46, Parker Wiese(Fr)-51, and Ashton McGranhan(Sr)-52. 

The boys traveled to Breese (Central) on August 24, and finished 3rd out of the 3 teams with the scores of: Levi Traub (Sr)-42, Shane Klasing (So)-43, Dillon Teter (Jr)-45, Parker Lehde (So)-50, Parker Wiese (Fr)-50, and Ashton McGranhan (Sr)-54. 

On August 26, the team played at Sparta and beat them with the scores of: Levi Traub (Sr)-37, Riley Clark (So)-43, Dillon Teter (Jr)-45, Shane Klasing (So)-45, Parker Lehde (So)-47, Harrison Borrenpohl (Sr)-51, Ashton McGranhan (Sr)-52, and Parker Wiese (Fr)-52.

August 28 was the Okawville Invitational, which was an 18 hole tournament. The team placed 3rd out of 9 teams total with the scores of: Levi Traub (Sr)-78, Dillon Teter (Jr)-84, Shane Klasing (So)-90, Riley Clark (So)-92, Parker Wiese (Fr) -94, and Parker Lehde (So)-96.

The team traveled to play at Chester on August 31. They placed 1st out of 2 teams with the scores of: Dylan Clark (Sr)-39, Levi Traub (Sr)-40, Dillon Teter (Jr)-40, Ashton McGranhan (Sr)-44, Shane Klasing (So)-46, Riley Clark (So)-48, Parker Lehde (So)-48, and Parker Wiese (Fr)-53.

The next and final home match for the boys’ team is on Thursday, September 16.
