As the Lady Rockets have continued on with their season, they had a current record of 8-3. The Lady Rockets previously played in the Marrisa/New Athens Tournament taking on Trico but losing in two sets, and Lebanon winning in two sets the first night. On the second night, they played against Marissa winning in two sets and Wesclin losing in three sets. The Lady Rockets ended up playing for 5th place against Red Bud and won in two sets. Senior Sydney Tebbe was also awarded an All-Tournament Team medal after her stellar performance in the tournament. 

The next week, the Lady Rockets faced the Red Bud Musketeers which was the Rockets first conference win of the season. The conference includes Okawville, Red Bud, Sparta, Wesclin, Chester, and Carlyle. 

Okawville then beat Gibault Catholic and Sparta that same week, both in two sets. The following Monday, Okawville played Trico and beat them in two sets, leaving them with only 3 points in the second set! Junior Megan Rennegarbe had a great serving game serving 12 points in a row. The next day Okawville traveled to Father McGivney and won in two sets. Jordyn Heckert had a great attacking game with 10 kills. The following Thursday they faced Wesclin and won in two sets, the Lady Rockets had a great defensive game. 

As of now, the Lady Rockets currently have 11 wins and only 3 losses on the season and are seeded first in the Conference as of now. They next play Thursday, September 23, against Carlyle.  Come out and support the Lady Rockets!
