The high school FFA students built a vacation-themed float for the Wheat Festival of 2021. The theme for the 2021 Wheat Festival parade was “What we missed,” recognizing last year when events were canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, so Vacation was a perfect fit!

They spent about a week building it with the help of their Agriculture teacher, Mr. Berg. Their float decorations consisted of blue waves on the side of the float with some beach balls and a surfboard they built. FFA members who participated in the parade wore Hawaiian shirts with colorful leis around their necks and one student wore an inflatable shark costume. FFA ended up getting 3rd place for their float in the contest. Great job FFA!
