This year the 7th and 8th grades were once again able to have a dance held by the Student Council. They will still have to follow the Covid guidelines and wear a mask, however. The dress code for the dance was jeans and a nice shirt. The dance was held on Friday, October 15 in the cafeteria from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Spirit Week was the week of October 18-22.

Monday was Nerd vs. Athlete day where students could dress up as either nerds or athletes. Tuesday was twin pajama day. Wednesday was Hawai’ian or Western day. Students either dressed as a cowboy or cowgirl or as someone from Hawai’i.  Thursday was spirit day, wear as much orange and blue as possible. Friday they had no school due to Parent/ Teacher Conferences.

I asked Mrs. Dressler “How did you think the dance went on Friday?”.  She replied, “I think the dance went well. This is the first time that the 7th and 8th graders have had a dance since Covid but overall I think everyone had fun.”
