NHS Provides Breakfast Bars

Justice Altenbaumer, JH Staff Writer

The National Honor Society decided to start selling breakfast bars to the OJHS and OHS students. They can be bought from 7:30-8:00 a.m. at the entrance kiosk by the Art Room. Students in grades 7-12 are allowed to purchase them, and the bars can be bought for 25 or 50 cents, depending on what you get.

The program was started by senior Alyssa Gavin. The National Honor Society buys the bars from Sam’s Club. They do this so that kids who can’t get breakfast at home can still get something to eat in the morning. They are not meant to be a fundraiser, but they are meant to be a service to all students who need them. Thank you to the National Honor Society!
