Timepiece editorial staff meets with cover artist, Stephen Williamson, via Zoom.

Macie Staley, Staff Writer

Recently the Timepiece editors got to attend Carbondale High School for a yearbook workshop sponsored by Balfour, the yearbook publisher. The staff went on an all-day trip to learn some valuable things about photography, writing, and layouts in the book. Liz Bardin, the company representative, organized the day with speaker Katie Moreno from Texas.

While they were there, they participated in a Zoom meeting with Balfour cover artist Stephen Williamson and designed a great cover for this year’s yearbook.

This year the staff decided to make some very big decisions. They have changed the whole layout and added more pages to make sure everything was covered. The staff has some very big dreams and are making them come true even though we have a small school. They had a very good time on the trip. Participants got gift cards if they answered a question, or candy if they just wanted some and a great lunch.
