FCA Holds First Devotion of the Year

Ms. Hood and Mr. Recker, along with the help of Mr. Gaebe,  took over Mrs. Sweet’s spot in FCA meetings for the 2021-22 school year. The abbreviation FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Their first official meeting was on November 10 in the band room. They talked about the importance of having faith and went over the verse Philippians 2:3-16. FCA is for everyone to join, not just athletes.

I interviewed Megan Rennegarbe and asked her “How do you think the meeting went Wednesday?” She said, “I am very glad that the FCA has finally had the chance to meet all together. I thought the meeting went extremely well. Many people showed up and Mr. Gaebe gave us a great presentation.”

Every Wednesday at 7:50 a.m. there will be a short prayer before school to get your mindset for the day and have Jesus with you throughout the day. They also had donuts and juice to go along with their devotion.
