Junior High Boys’ Basketball Team Makes Improvements

Gabriel Charles, JH Staff Writer

The junior high boys’ basketball team has won one game against Trico. They have a team of 13 athletes, including two sixth graders, two eighth-graders, and nine seventh graders. The seventh graders play seventh and eighth-grade basketball and the sixth graders play seventh and eighth-grade basketball as well.

I had an interview with Braylen Turner, and he stated, “Our season has not been going the greatest.”  They won against Trico in the seventh-grade game, scoring 21 points, and the eighth graders lost by two. Finally, I had another interview with Clay Maynard, he claimed, “We need more improvement.”  Good luck to the 7th and 8th-grade boys basketball teams as they compete in the rest of their season.
