The Okawville Lady Rockets Basketball team has won the statewide holiday TikTok challenge! The girls competed against three other schools in Illinois after being selected to the top four by IHSA. This contest was presented by Undeniable Dairy and Midwest Dairy. Their video had to be a 30-second minimum and a 60-second maximum. It also had to be Christmas-themed, include dairy, and have 50% of the team in the video. The Lady Rockets filmed their video on Coach Michelle Hasheider-Burianek’s local dairy farm.  They included a dairy cow as a reindeer, dressed up in Christmas attire, and drank dairy products under their basketball hoop in the O’rena.  The team received over 33,000 votes out of the 84,000 total votes.
