Jr. Lady Rockets Are Well Represented At All-Star Classic

On Saturday, March 12th, and Sunday, March 13th the Southern Illinois Premier Jr High All-Star Classic game took place. This is where coaches from other teams nominate players on other teams to play. 

The Okawville players nominated to play were: 8th grader, Caroline Tepe and 7th graders, Kenley Hackstadt, Jilien Harre, Kaylie Behrman, and Brynn Rhodes. The 7th grade girls were lucky to be in a group together for most of the time. At the end, there was a Sportsmanship award and an MVP. Brynn Rhodes was awarded MVP of the game. 

On Sunday, Caroline Tepe played in the all-star game, and she was the only one that played.  Caroline scored 12 points in the game and was awarded the sportsmanship award.
